Jack-in-the-box

Meet Jack. as in Jack-in-the-box, the method of transport in which he arrived. He’s the prosthetic head standing in for CLARK, a character in our film-within-a-film, Hiker Meat, part of the ROUGH CUT experimental feature film I’m producing with artist Jamie Shovlin. It doesn’t end well for Jack/CLARK, as what you can’t see here is the latex bladder in the throat with a hypodermic pump-action reservoir for holding blood. ┬áIt’s amazing what a difference a wig can make, too! Almost… handsome. I said almost. Prosthetic head by the incredibly generous and understanding John Gregson of Gregson Design Studio, Manchester, wig by my regular weave magician Mitch Woodiwiss.
