Scratch ‘n’ Sniff Cinema

Gregory's Girl / 1981 / Dir: Bill Forsyth
I love it when a plan comes together... working alongside collaborators Bompass & Parr, with funding support from City of Edinburgh Council and Scottish Arts Council National Lottery Fund, I'm chuffed to announce Scratch 'n' Sniff Cinema presents Gregory's Girl. This sweet, admittedly dated but gentle comedy drama from 1981 will be accompanied by scent cards to trigger flashbacks to a time of acute self-awareness and questionable personal hygiene.
Close also-ran Black Narcissus will have to sit on the shelf until another opportunity following overwhelming support for Bill Forsyth's slice of classroom life during informal polling while speaking to people who live and work in the city. As for what crazed nun would have smelt like... rotten sulpher? Cheap lipstick? An oestrogen patch? Read more about the event here.
